Thanks very much for calling by to look at my event in aid of a charity close to my heart, ‘The Lewis Balyckyi Trust Fund’!
I had known Lewis all of my school life, from Walton-Le-Dale Primary school to Lostock Hall High School. Over these 11 years Lewis’s career took off before our eyes and he was a key player in both our year and large friendship group. The loss of Lewis has had such an impact on our peers and community, not mentioning his loving family. The Trust Fund has been set up by Lewis’s family to celebrate his legacy and let it live on, therefore…..
On the 2nd September 2012, I am taking on Blackpool Half Marathon. This is a 13mile run which takes place along the coast of Blackpool! Having ran the Manchester 10K (7miles) in 2008 I have ‘some’ experience of competitive running… Just not on the level of a half marathon! However, training is underway and is going well. I am determind to make this a success, raising money to a worthy cause and crossing the finishing line in a decent time!
